Default 2014 Silverado Orange Peel Paint

I have a 2000 Silverado I purchased new 2000. I installed Rancho Lift, 33's and have never had a problem with the truck but it's time for a new one. I never purchased a late model Silverado since my interior and seats are nicer than 2007-13 model's. So I went for a drive in a 2014 and I'm very impressed the the truck except for 2 concerns. One, all 14 trucks on the dealer lot, including white diamond tricolor color, had very bad orange peel paint on every body panel. The surface imperfections where very noticeable on side body panels and rear tailgate.

Also, when you turn on the air conditioned seats in the LTZ, the exhaust fan on the rer of the seat blows hot air on the rear passenger. The intake and exhaust fan for the air conditioned seats are on the back of the seats. The panel on the left I believe is the intake. The panel on the right is the exhaust fan which blows extremely hot air on the rear passenger when activated. Here's a link to a discussion about it on another forum. Major design flaw found in 2014 LTZ & SLT trucks - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra 1500 - GM-Trucks.com. Do all new Chevy vehicles show signs of orange peel in the paint or is this a manufacturing defect for Silverado's only?

Thanks
Robert
