The Orange peel in my paint is starting to bother me. I don't think this level is normal or at least it shouldn't be. Can you let me know if yours is about the same?

Dang! I dont have your answer for normality of the orange peel look on the 07's. However I have a white one and I dont have any of that.

That would **** me off too. I can already tell you GM's answer! That is normal wit that color paint!!!!!!!

Call Gm and open a case number...Then wait for the factory Rep to look at it............Then they will tell you"That is normal" and will close the case number...............[][][]

Can't really tell from your pics (looks pretty bad tho) but my black LTZ has what I've come to expect from GM.

I've discovered that if you want paint w/o orange peel, you either have to have it sanded out and buffed or buy overseas.[:'(]

FYI: I saw a new 06 Corvette with more orange peel than your Tahoe.[]

 

You guys will have to forgive me for being an idiot, but what is "orange peel"?

The paint in his pictures is not smooth. It is bumpy and has a texture like the outside of an orange peel.
