My 2014 Silverado LT 5.3l V8 has thrown a P06DD code. I have no reduction in engine performance. Still accelerates and idles steadily. Oil pressure is at ~45-55. Could this be as simple as replacing oil pressure sensors or PCV valves? Trying the simplest fixes first before ripping apart the entire front end to get to the oil pump. Any info or experience is greatly appreciated.

There is an oil pressure control solenoid that should be checked. You would not want to get into a large job that is not necessary. The output of the pump is controlled by the solenoid operated valve that regulates oil pressure. Code pertains to that part. It could be electrical or mechanical and that is why a thorough diagnosis is required.
