Default Oil pressure up and down On 2014 Silverado 5.3.

I have a 2014 Silverado, and I’m not sure when it started, but I recently noticed that the oil pressure while driving is around 40, and when I come to a stop (idle) it drops to around 25. I carried to the shop and they told me that this normal. Has anyone else had this problem?

If your oil is at correct level check the oil sensor. I have a 13 and had the same things happening until it totally went. My pressure dropped to 0 and I freaked. After some trouble shooting and thinking it through I figured it was the sensor. Not very expensive but dam hard to get to. Its on the center of engine by the fire wall down halfway above drive shaft. Prices I got were from 380 (Goodyear) to over 600 (Tire Kingdom). If you can reach it you can do it. I have a mobility issue. I had the auto hobby shop on a military base fix it for 140.00.
