Default 2019 Trail Boss Exhaust

I just replaced my stock muffler with a Flowmaster Super 44. Watching all the videos I knew this is what I wanted. Just had it installed and what a disappointment!!! Seriously, it’s barely louder than it was with the stock muffler. It’s got what looks like square mesh on the pipes. From what I understand that’s to help keep the noise level down. If that’s the case it works! Feel like I wasted my money! Has anyone here had this experience and found a fix that didn’t involve replacing the all the exhaust pipes?
i appreciate it!

Did you experience any increase in power or fuel mileage?
