2026 Silverado 2500 Trailer TPMS

Good morning. I just purchased a 2026 Silverado 2500HD LTZ with the 6.6L gas engine. This was a vehicle already on the dealer's lot, so I did not get one option I really wanted, the trailer TMPS. When I questioned the dealer about whether or not I could simply purchase and install the sensors and it would work, they told me yes. It has the trailering package with hitch guidance as standard equipment. Behind the license plate there is a TPMS ECU. I purchased 4 GM part number 13545366 sensors which according to GM Parts web site is the correct sensor for my truck. I installed one sensor (as a test) and electrically connected my trailer to the truck. Everything seemed to work, but I never got the option to setup the tire pressures. From everything I had read, I was confident once I electrically connected the trailer that I would get the tire pressure option in the trailering app....was VERY disappointed when it did not come up. Any suggestions on how to make this work would be greatly appreciated.
