350 or 305?

Hey guys quick question for you (I have a 93 chevy cheyenne v8) how can you tell the difference from a 305 or the 350 by inspecting the motor itself? Also my eighth vin number is Z. Thanks for the help

Is the motor original? I thought Z was for 4.3 v6.

When I got the truck it had the v8 not the 4.3. That's why I'm wondering the difference between the 305 and 350 since the vin says the truck is a 4.3

350 or 305?

I believe all the tbi motors have a casting on the drivers side of the block behind the head. 57 or 50.
