4.3L starting issues need help
I have a 2003 silverado base model 4.3l v6 144xxx mi. Which has recently come into some starting issues this is what I've replaced so far
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Fuel pressure regulator
I've cleaned my maf sensor I've also replaced my air filter...I thought for sure the regulator would of done it but I guess I was wrong if I want to start my car I have to hold the gas pedal in then crank on key??? Any help would be sweet

Well, you might have a vacuum leak or also you can check your throttle body to make sure its not all nasty and stuff in there, but it seems like the hard starting would be due to a vacuum leak. Sorry i dont have more help

v6 starting issues
Has anyone out there had any issues with starting a silverdo v6 after doing a lower intake gasket? The timing is correct, there are only two ppsistions for the distributor to drop and the oposite side drop will not even crank. There is a funky car lock symbol that is coming on the dash after 7 or 8 cranks. Any help please?
