Default 4 wheel drive binding going straight

Hey I have a 2006 1500 silverado with push button four wheel drive. When I put it in 4 hi and try to drive it acts as if the front diff is binding up. Then when I put the transmission in neutral and put the t case in 2 hi the truck jumps and makes a big clunk. Also the t case makes a squealing noise in 4 wheel drive when you lift it up on a hoist and turn the rear drive shaft. Is it something in the t case causing all this or a combination of both? Any input would be much appreciated. By the way I only have to move about 20 feet to get it to bind up going straight no turns. Thanks y'all.

Same size tires but different brands. Is it because of different diameters causing it? The fronts are Coopers and the backs are bridgestone.

I bought the truck back in September and have only actually used the auto 4wd in a snow storm one night.

Yes,

Get it up on all fours and measure the diameter of the tires. Doesn't take much difference front to back (an inch) and it'll bind like crazy.

Default Noise

Check the oil in the transfer case. Electronic push button take Auto-Trak II blue fluid. Hand shift take regular tx fluid.

That is not the transfer case making that noise. It is the low overun clutch in the back of the transmission settin' up that 'squealing' noise. Normal.
