Any info will be much appreciated. I just purchased a supposedly new rebuilt tranny and had it installed as the old one had totally lost drive and overdrive. Well this one is doing the exact thing other than when you put it in drive or 3rd and rev up to 2000 rpm it will engage. I need to know if a sensor or solenoids can cause this or is this tranny junk as well.

 

I'd use a OBD II scan-tool that can read TCU (transmission control module) readings. The cheap scan-tools usually don't read those..
