Before 93s dont have electronic valve body so they have mechanical TV cable linkage. 93 & 94s dont have a lock up converter solenoid. but 94-to 96 have a plug in the case for the lock-up. Plus 95-up have auxilliary valve bodies and 96-ups dont have screw in SAE fittings in the case, they use NPT.

ok. i don't see any tags on mine.all i can see is m30 on the case.
i was having trouble with the shift from 1 to 2 and was getting a code 67 so i changed the shift solenoids and the lockup solenoid. didn't help anything but it did knock the code i was getting out.
since i have a lockout solenoid i guess that makes mine a 94-96 or am i wrong .
i'm trying to find a replacement but need to know whether i'm getting one that will work with my truck.
i found one and the tag says 3ckd on it and everything else looks the same.
