Ok, I just pulled a 4L60 E tranny out of a 98 GMC and I have a TBI 350 that came out of a 94 or 95 Chevy just loafing around that I am not doing anything with at the moment.

Is there any reason I can not put that motor and tranny together?

I read somewhere that a 4L60E from 95 and before needed upgrading before use on a 96 or newer but otherwise fit, I did not however see anything about backwards compatibility.
