Default 8.1 2500 HD what tuner to buy? fitch fuel catalyst?

hello i have an 03 2500hd crew, 8.1l with the allison trans. i know getting good fuel mileage is out of the question qith this beast, but id like to get at least 1-2 mpg better. im getting around 11 now and i drive very very conservative. im looking at buying a tuner, and was just curious what everyone has used, or is using and how they like it. im looking into either the bully dog triple gt, deablo trinity, or the edge evolution cts. again its more to tune it for better fuel economy. also is anyone using a fitch fuel catalyst? and how is thta working or not working to improve mileage. thanks in advance

No "tuner", "programmer", "chip", will do anything for you. Contact Justin at blackbearperformance.com or charlie at gowheatley.com and they'll hook you up right. After a time from them I saw a 2 mpg increase and a whole lot more power on 35s. With my bully dog, I saw no increase in power or mpg, ever.

sorry, I didn't notice you had posted. But if you live by a dyno tune shop, then no you don't have to send off your ecm. If you went with wheatley or blackbear then yes, unless you're close to them

seems your the only one with any input on the subject. i really appreciate that. im a motorcycle tech, and on all the motorcycle forums im on eveyone is jumping to help each other out. i guess not so much with chevy trucks. anyway. i might have blackbear do a custom tune, havent decided yet, but once i get some time im going to swap over to e fans, and i know blackbear will need to tune the ecm to have it control the fans.
