Out of the blue my tbi injectors became so loud I can hear them pulsing when I'm inside the cab. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator has failed and the injectors are getting a much higher pressure than needed??

Are you actually hearing them or could it be electrical interference through the radio?

 

That's exactly what it sounds like so I put my ear right on the speaker and they're quiet. I then got a stethoscope with a wand and worked my way through the cab, then under the hood. With the wand on the side of the throttle body I could here the pulsing....pulled the air cleaner cover off and the injectors were chattering away like normal, only really really loud.
Engine seems to still run fine.
