previous owner made a mess of all of the electronics and wiring within the dash and under the hood of my 1992 chevy c1500. I have a plug and a wire both of which i am wondering what they are to and where they go. here they are:

Anybody? or does no one know what these are for?

 

I believe it goes to a under the hood light which pulls out of a compartment and allows you to use it like a wired flash light.
