My EGR is acting up, and has been for months... Locally the elctronic GER's are $170 at Autozone, O'Reillys...ect.. NOT! Found some on eBay for $59.99 with free shipping. My question was, can I just unplug the electronic connector from it until it comes in? Its really running like garbage. Will it hurt anything else? Or, can I just leave it unplugged and not replace it? We dont have emissions testing in my county.

Summary: Would disconnecting it in the closed position, be the same as installing a deleter plate? Or will the computer get screwed up?
