94 Silverado brake fluid leak

Default 94 Silverado brake fluid leak

I have a 94 Silverado that has a brake fluid leak. The front part of the reservoir quickly leaks down. I see no visible sign of leaking without removing the front wheels. Rear brakes work fine. I heard a pop from under the right side of the hood before the front brakes went out. Any ideas before I start removing wheels? Thanks!

It sounds like you have the idea, but tracing all the lines may be your only option. There is a line that runs from the master cylinder down in front of the engine and over to passenger front wheel. Any leaks would be caught in the plastic/metal front skid plate initially.
