Default 95 5.7 exhaust smoke. Need help troubleshooting.

My truck has gotten me from a to b for a long time now, but recently I've started noticing a bit of smoke coming from the exhaust when I take off from a stop sign or a red light. I've got a few ideas, pcv valve or maybe piston rings, but I was hoping to get a few more opinions before I decided to take action. The smoke is a blueish white color and it only happens after I've been driving for a little while. Most of the time it's after a check engine light shows up, other times it happens when the engine light isn't on. Any suggestions?

you probably need a valve job. my truck did the same thing and a valve job fixed that.
