hi

my trucks check engine light came on a few weeks back but when i shut it off and started it back up it stayed off. it did this a couple more times, now it is comming on a bit more. when the light goes on the truck shifts harder into second gear and the converter doesnt lock up. when the light is off it shifts fine. has anyone heard of anything like this before?

when the light comes on..get somebody to scan it.. around here auto zone and advanced will only do obd2 which is 96+..lol i think they do sell a scanner for $30
