I have a 96 Z71 that is hopping when in the 30-50 mph range. It dosen't so this all the time just sometimes. I've ruled out the tires because of the randomness. I do have play in my steering, and when it does this I pull a little to one side and it stops. I'm thinking ball joints and tie rods. Looking for any other ideas?
