Default 97 gmc Wipers not working sometimes

Hey guys I just picked up this truck a couple of weeks ago and was driving in the rain for the first time and the wipers quit working on me. It stopped raining and they started working again. I drove it in the rain again and they worked the whole time, until last night when it was raining they stopped again. And now they work again and its Kinda hard to diagnosis something that works lol. Any ideas?

anyone know where the wiper relay is, i cant seem to find it. When this happens i can hear a buzzing noise sound like its coming from behind the dash. I think the relay might be sticking.

one thing u can check thats easy and only takes a couple of minutes is checking the circuit board. its on the wiper motor. it has a 3 1/2 inch by 3 1/2 inch plastic cover. the cover has just 3 torx screws in it. pull the board out and see if there are any broken connections on the circuits or burn marks on it.
