I have a 1997 Z71 and I was wondering about a front end alignment. I just recently bought the truck and want to get the front end aligned before putting on new tires and was told about there were originally plates that had to be knocked out before alignment could be done, if they haven't been it could add a lot of dollars to the price. is there a way a could look and see if these plates were knocked out or not before taking it down?

also I heard there is an right front alignment issue on these trucks, is that true?
