i swapped out the gaskets cause they were leaking coolant.

i have good spark, lots of fuel(maybe to much) plugs come out soaked.
will fire a little bit but not enough to run.

checked #1 cylinder is at tdc when distributor is firing #1 spark.

i have a snap on diagnostic tool but what can i do if it wont run.

help please

 

I've got the same problem. New intake gasket, went great. However I have no spark. I did the same as you. #1 tdc. on compression and the rotor pointing at #1 post on cap. Scatching my head, my buddy came by and said there is marks on the lower shaft of the distributer that line up before dropping it into the motor and the rotor will end up pointing at the # on the dist. housing at the top. I'm confused bet he is bringing me a book tomarrow. If it works for me I'll pass it on to you.
