Default 327 wont start after changing intake manifold gasket.

Ok, i had a oil leak in the corners of my intake manifold gasket on my 327. So immediately after changing it, it wouldnt start. i gave it a few tries then it started up good. but i put it in reverse and it made it about 5 feet then died. then i let it sit for a few hours and it started up but died out before i got it into gear. i marked the dist. and put it back like i had it. PLEASE any advice or suggestions im struggling here.

Either a vacuum leak or the timing is off.
