Default 98 K1500 wont start in mornings Help!!!!!!!!

I have 98 K1500 5.7 in the mornings after the truck has sat overnight it will not start it turns over but does not start. I replaced the fuel filter and it seemed to work then a few days later it was hard to start and know won't. I hear the fuel pump running when I turn the key to on. When I do get it started it runs rough for a few seconds then will run the rest of day just fine but starts all over next morning. Temps are in the upper 60's in the morning. All battery cables and connections are fine. Help me please.

if you cycle the key a couple of times before you start it will it start up fine after that (with about a 15 second pause between cycles)if that helps could be leaking fuel pressure regulator, leaking injector or check valve in the pump leaking, whats the fuel pressure?

I suspect bad fuel pump. Check fuel pressure on the rail when you start it. If it isnt at least 30psi, the pump is bad.

I'll have to buy a fuel presure tester and get back to ya. Please keep an eye on this thread and i'll report what I find out it's gonna be a few days before I can buy tester or pump for that matter. Any tips on getting it started in the mean time will help. I can get it started but it takes hours sometimes.
