Default 99 4.3 Silverado just won't start.

I have a weird problem I need some help with. The other day, I went to my truck and it just would not start. It had been absolutely fine before being parked for a few days. When I try to start it, it will run for app. 3 seconds and then dies. Applying throttle while running makes no difference. If you turn the key off and back on for the pump to recharge the fuel system, it will do the same again....run for 3 seconds and quit. There are no trouble codes. I have verified spark, the fuel pump is definitely running and producing pressure. Fuel filter is clear. If you pour fuel down the throttle body, it will stay running until it burns off the fuel. What on earth could be the problem?
