99 silverado fuel pump Qs

is there a way to tell which pump I need with out dropping the tank or lifting the bed? Its calling for a TCF or TCU.

The vin number will answer that question. I am not sure about parts stores, but the dealer can tell.

Lift the bed, done it twice on my 98. Four hours with two people
