Question Clusters have me Clustered

<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:PunctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <wontGrowAutofit/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--> I am wanting to switch my 1989 Chevy Silverado cluster to a 1992 Chevy Silverado cluster that has the needle gauges. The plug-ins are different on the back of the two clusters though. What I'm wondering is if I hard wire the plug-in from the 92 Chevy to the 89 Chevy wiring will it work? Are the wiring diagrams the same in a 89 as the 92?

Find a cluster out of a '91, which had the sweep guages. They are kinda spendy, but they are out there.
