ABS and Brake Lights on in dash but Brakes seem to be working fine?

ABS and Brake Lights on in dash but Brakes seem to be working fine?
Yesterday the yellow (ABS) light came on. I drove it around today and it was off. Later tonight it came back on and every few seconds the red BRAKE light would flash, but everything seemed to work fine. What could it be? Before I get down there and prolly mess it up worse...
