Default ABS system failure

1995 Chev K1500, they abs pump comes under normal braking for no apparent reason and then the abs light comes on afterwards then it goes out. Is there a way to find if and which sensor is not working. Also I read somewhere that the 4x4 switch can affect the abs system is that true? I am supposed to leave on a trip this weekend, is there a fuse I can pull to deactivate the abs system temporarily until I get home. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Shaun

Default After some thinking

I went through where the truck had been and also found the onboard computer does not have the smarts in 95, and remembered the truck had been in for an alignment. So I started checking the system through and found a broken blue wire to the drivers side sensor. Soldered it back together and problem solved.
