My A/C compressor is out for the count. I have a 1995 2500 diesel silverado and when i put the defroster on it turns the A/C on which does not work and throws the belt off. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if it is an easy fix???thanks

 

Can you get a belt for a truck without A/C and bypass the compressor?

 

pull the a/c fuse or disconect/cut wire to the a/c clutch.

Lost_in_alabama has a good idea with the belt also.
