could it be the switch board? where you turn the ac from low to high? absolutely nothing happens while turning the ****

Until you check the motor, you will be chaseing it. If the motor is good, that eleminates most of the problem

i literaly just pulled the blower motor out, and stuck it back in and now it works on 3 and 2 but not 1,4,or 5? i guess its better than no ac in texas!!

Yea, i am in Oklahoma, real hot. I'd suggest it is the switch.

Great then it is most likely the resistor block. It is in the same place as the motor is.

It might be, I'd suggest check the switch also. BTW what model is your 98?

I dont think it is the switch. If it was the switch it wouldnt work at any speed. You get function at intermediary speeds, sounds like resistor block.

yup...the resister block is it, also check fuse in under hood green 40 amp for the blower.
