Default Additional coolant temp gage kit ??

We have a 2003 motor home with the 8.1L / 496cc engine, so I thought this might be a good place to post.

The Workhorse chassis has a dash coolant gauge that is pegged at the factory. It never moves after reaching about 1/2 way. Which I think is about 212 degrees. When it does move......

I am looking for a remote coolant temp sender with a readout that can sit on top of the dash, rather than cut a hole and mount in the dash.

This will be an extra and will not replace the exixting.

Can you suggest a kit ?

Thanks

Try changing the sending unit for the factory gauge. It might be a simple fix. There is no need to add on a gauge if the factory one can be repaired easily.
