i recnetly got a 96' k1500 z71 ext. cab with the 5.0L 305 block, and i am having a few questions and problems...

sometimes when i get on the throttle i hear a clunkish clank and it sounds similar to when i put it into 4low...it really only happens wheni am going from a dead stop...if i am rolling at all it doesnt really do it

what ratio my rearend would most likely be...

would it be possible for me to run 2285/75/16 tires or would i be rubbing too bad? i dont really think i would but im not sure.

is pro-comps 6" kit a good kit for my truck or would it be better for me to go with a rancho or other brand lift.

what type of rearend should i put in?....locker or limited slip?....and is a cable locker better than an air-locker or elocker?

few more things....

what is my low ratio a tthe t-case?

The clank when you get on the throttle is probably a universal joint in the driveshaft.

The common axle ratios were the 3.42 & 3.72, both are seen lots.

I think that the 285/75/16 tires would clear. There might be some rubbing on the front bumper when you turn the wheels. I'm running 275/70/17, on Avalanche wheels, with no rubbing anywhere on my 1998 K1500 pickup.
