Air Conditioning Issue
I have recently bought a 2003 Silverado 1500 HD. I absolutely love this truck, and admire the quality of the build. One problem I have having though, is that the air conditioning will start blowing warm, humid air when I am stopped or barely moving. As soon as I get up to speed again, you could hang meat in the cab!
Since we are approaching summer (and I live in Houston!) I really need to understand how to fix this.
Anyone out there have this issue before and know how to fix?
Thanks!!!

Happens when your idling with a clutch fan. AC doesn't get as hot, not as much air flow or somethin like that. I know that clutch fans at idle are less superior to electric fans at idle. While movin though, they're the same since they both disengage.

In the front of the clutch fan there is a bi-metal thermal spring which will make the clutch tight when it gets hot, this will help keep the condenser cooler if its working, at low rpms when its hot you should hear a lot of air moving from the fan, also check and see if the condenser coil is clogged with bugs. You could also be low on Freon, when the compressor rpm's drop if your on the low side, same results.
