Just wondering if any one as made their own air intake set up? I have an 88 c1500 I'm planning on making one for, just not sure how are where to start. I'm kind of leaning to running 2 hose's. Any tips/suggestions would be great, I really don't care much for the after marked kits.

wow. thats a nice truck. but the air intake wise, either he built it or gave someone a blueprint of what he wanted and they built it. almost looks like he bought them pre-made or they were for something else and he modified them to be his intake. either way its pretty cool.

 

That is a pretty nice intake system, but yeah that's almost definitely a custom job; however it doesn't look as if it would be too difficult to do.

 

Yea i have the stuff out in the shop to make the box's, but still looking around for ideas. I'm not sold on that one just now.
