Another wiper issue - please help - it keeps raining
I have a 94 GMC k1500 that I recently bought and the wipers were hard wired to only work on high to bypass a bad motor pulse board and when I tried to buy a new board i found out that the motor was not the right one for the truck so i replaced the entire assembly with the correct motor and it wont turn or buzz or show any signs of life. i have taken a volt meter to the connector and all the wires show 12 volts when the switch is on as they should so I'm lost as to what to do next.
Any ideas?

well, if theres power to it, and it isnt working you may have been sold a faulty part, one test you could do is try is to see if the ground works. turn on the wipers with the harness dissconected, make the connection between your power and ground on the connector with a test light, if it works, your ground is good and you have a faulty part

well i tried again today and now it makes a buzzing sound all the time except for when its on high
is it possible that my switch is bad and its sending a ground to the wrong wire? can anyone tell me which wires are supposed to have power at which times?
this is what i started with
<a href="http://s175.photobucket.com/albums/w143/zbkeebler/94%20GMC%20K1500/?action=view&current=IMAG0119.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w143/zbkeebler/94%20GMC%20K1500/IMAG0119.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
