any ideas????HELP!!!
Well I just got my truck back yesterday from the tire store andthe tires are awesome,I stayed with the stock size and got bridgestone dueler H/T REVO's.BUT.......They put a THOUSAND miles on it and now it doesnt have nearly as much power as it did.Its consuming alot of gas and they said it was because of the two supposedly dead cylinders. But when I took it up to them it ran great, they also said they were ganna do this that and the other thing to it but did nothing but tires and a wheel alignment. Its tapping some to but thats just the timing being up to high.It got right up to 80 on 275 alright though and cruised good with no vibrations, knoking or smoking.I am really agrivated because these were my friends for a long time and I go riding with them all the time. Will post pics tommorow.
Any ideas??

93' k1500 swb off road package with a tbi5.7 350.It takes a little bit more to get it going but it is fine at a steady speed. The service engine light came on 5 minutes down the road on the way to a junk yard for something else my dads fixing. That same junk yard would sell me a good 350 out of a truck of thesame year for $1300 installed.

If they put 1,000 miles on your truck without your prior approval, and now there is a difference in the way it runs.
Find a mechanic, get a written estimate, let them pay to fix it. if not, next stop 1-800-badasslawyer.

Well I just got it back today from a REAL mechanic and all it took was $234 bucks to fix it.I am verry happy
. All it was was an EGR valve,o2 sensor, and a timing set.It had 207,000 some miles on it,Now it has 208,000 some miles and I cant change that,But I also noticed something else.it had some road dust and brand new undercoating on it when I drove it up thereand now is all gone and frame is a bare metal rusty color.I think they took it mudding with my brand new tires then pressure washed it on a lift.Ill get pics of that up soon, but its raining now.At least it runs good now
