So I heard that a chip can improve power pretty greatly, do they harm anything at all? im all for more power but what are the side effects/negatives? (if there are any) i looked at this one online ( Superchips Flash Paq Hand Held Tuners Gas Engines )

and it looks fairly easy to install and use, any reviews on this one? or could someone lead me to a better one. (id like to stay under $400-$500) if you do know of a good one in my price range please post the link! thanks!

Unless you have a Diesel then stay away from the off the self "box" tunes. They do not do much. Spend the money on a custom tune. I think you can get one for your price range. I have heard many good things about the black bear tune mentioned above. Supposedly it will make is seem like a different truck. Google Black Bear custom tune and see for yourself. If you get one please post your results
