i need help... i just installed a new blend door actuator on my 99 silverado Z71 5.3 LT.I am confident that I have the right part (after much research) and it installed no problem. I went through the steps on how to reset but the cold/hot blend control is working backwards. Turn it to cold and its hot turn to hot and its cold I installed a Dorman 604-113 is my reset not working any help would be great thanks .

 

Did you plug in the power before installing the actuator? If you do this the actuator motor will turn making it very difficult to get it set right. I put one in my 99 and it worked correctly.

 

Thanks for the reply no i did not plug it in before install. do you have any suggestions on the best way to reset there are a lot of different opinions out there <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
