hey guys just wondering who has any experience on here with swaping bodys? i have a 1988 k1500 in it just had it restored from ground up and i was thinking about throwing a newer style-01? duramax frame/motor under it or maybe a newer 2500 frame/motor? any tried this yet? we have made lots of suburbans and older short boxes into 6.6's but havent had a chance to get my truck in :P wiring will not be an issue for anything just wondering if anyone has advice on fitment.. as i am a mechanic not a body man . thanks!

 

honestly I have no clue but I want you to know that if you are doing such a project I personally would love if you shared your progress with us with lots of photos and how-tos. We could make an ongoing thread for you to post periodically in with your progress. It would be very interesting
