My brake lights are stuck on, BUT when I step on the brake pedal they get slightly brighter, thus I would think eliminating the switch??? At the same time the computer thinks the brakes are on because the cruise wont work. problem is intermittent. Thanks for any help.

have you noticed it more with the running/parking lights on? could possible be a wire from the parking lights is rubing with a brake light wire causing the brake lights to light up when there is power on the parking light wires
