Default Brake system failure ( silverado 2,5k -91)

Hi everybody!

this is my first post here so i hope i dont do this wrong, u have du forgive me for my spelling because im from sweden so i dont type in english so much.

no to my problem, the brakes on my pickup is broken.

the problem seems to be the main brake cylinder and the servo brake pump ( dont know if thats what they are namned in english)

the problem started whit that the brakes begain to fade and suddenly i didnt have any presure on the rear tires, then when i looked in to it i found out that ATF oil (from the servo steering pump) had gone in the brakesystem and now its broken,

my questions is, what do u call the things i need in english, i need d "thing" thats build up the presure and the "thing" that u put the oil in..

i have a pic that i found on another carsite, try to see if u get what i meen,

thanx!

When you apply pressure to the brakes, the brake booster exerts pressure to the brake master cylinder which then pushes fluid through the brake lines.

I am not understanding what your actually asking about but the thing that creates pressure is the brake master cylinder.

No picture in your post. If you are talking about the thing that has the ATF or power steering fluid then you need the hydro booster.
