Take it to a muffler shop, they'll have the donut gaskets if that's what it wrong with it.

 

there is a bracket that DOES work and it is built really well with a lot of thought. it puts the right pressure where its needed while allowing the minimal lateral movement which is whats causing these bolts to sheer with expansion and contraction.
