I'm replacing my A/C condenser (along with the rest of the a/c system) on my 97 k1500 5.7l. The new condenser has a spot to thread on a sensor in the upper line of the unit but my old condenser doesn't have one. So can I plug the spot somehow and just ignore it or do I have to ship this one back and find one without the sensor connection? I feel like this is a dumb question and I already know the answer but I figured I'd see what my options were, if any. I've attached photos of the new and old condenser where the sensor location is and should be, respectively. Thank you for any advice you can send my way. I appreciate it. New condenser Old condenser
does the port have a valve core in it? if yes, it fine. If no. your options are to exchange it or buy the pressure sensor and install it to plug the port.
