Default A/C not cold

It's been years since I had to add freon to any of my autos, but my 2000 Z71 AC isn't as cold as it used to be.
I went to add some freon and found two inlets.
Don't want to add into the wrong one.
Please tell me which one to add into.

After looking at the photo, I see it's to large.
Here's a smaller photo.

I believe that the valve for adding freon is the only one in the correct size that will fit the charging hose fitting.

Thanks,
I didn't even pull the caps off or I would have seen the different sizes.
That's why I'm here, great site with great people.
