I just recently started building a 1992 chevy C1500. I took a 305 H.O. out of a Malibu and coveted it to tbi. Everything it new as far as the gaskets and plugs and related items. Im having a problem getting it to idle right. Its missing all the time. I've check the vacuum lines and any possible air leaks. I've changed the ignition module on the distributor, the map sensor and the computer. Is there anything else that i could be missing and any ideas what it could be?

 

did you set the timing correct? how new are the cap, rotor, and wires. also check your injector pulse while air cleaner is off. i have a problem with my 305 tbi running too rich and is missing at idle
