Can a 3.08rear tow an open car trailer with car 300miles? Shouldn't have got the 3.08

Next truck will have a 3.4_ or 3.7_ rear for sure. Can't believe I did not consider that every once in a while I may need to pull something. Last truck had 4.10s and max package and I towed twice during the time i had it. I buy this truck and now I need to tow. If I could go back I would have got a beefier rear.

Taking a fbody z28 to 300miles along 90west- very flat to Toledo and back home.

Yep, take offs will not be quick but once you get the weight in motion it should be fine.
