Default can anyone help?

i have a 86 chevy k10 that has a rattling noise i took the inspection plate off and it sounds like its coming from my torque converter and dont know how to go about fixing it

Check the bolts for loose.

no there not loose that was the first thing i checked when i took the cover off

Rattling noise? Could just be a loose inspection cover. If it were me (not suggesting this) I'd put it on a rack, with it running and inspection cover off to find out where the rattle was comming from.

yea to me what it sounds like is as the torque converter is turning it sounds like something is loose inside it but i can give that a try and see what happens i just would hate to go out and buy a new one if theres easier way to do it

Torque conervters don't go bad, it might be loose screws
