i have a 1998 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 5.7 V8, so the other day i was driving and the the rear wheel locked on me i was like well what the heck!, so i got out and pulled on the e brake cable it had some ice built up on it so i took it off and was on my way and it did it again and i noticed it does it at 40 KM and below so i got home and there was more ice i thought maybe with a bump it was pulling the e brake cable down. and it locks on the drivers side, so i took it to town and the bugger locked up at 70KM on the hwy which wasn't to much fun long story short it locks up the rear wheel either the left or right side it chooses which side it locks up... so if anyone out there can help me out! oh and the e brake light comes on on the dash and then goes off when it unlocks and there's a bit og a squeal to it right before it locks.
